How to Become Irresistible: Top 5 Ideas from “Enchantment” by Guy Kawasaki

Here are the Top 5 Ideas I learned from Guy Kawasaki, former Apple Chief Evangelist, as I read his simple yet powerful book Enchantment.

While this is considered a Marketing/Branding book,  learning the art of Enchantment will benefit anyone who has big dreams, big ideas, and wants to bring them to fruition.

Here are the Top 5 ideas, but to really understand their meaning and how to apply them, you’ll have to watch the video.

1-Be likeable.
2-Launch like a Pro.
3-Overcome Resistance.
4-Build an Ecosystem.
5-Use Technology.

  • […] And check out the first episode: How To Become Irresistible: Top 5 Ideas from Enchantment by Guy Kawasaki! […]

  • This is great! I'm about to make my own products, so this is really usefull. Thank you!

    • Thanks Lora. Can you share any insight as to what kind of product you want to make? I'd love to help out if I can.

      • I'm a fashion design student, and i'm forced to pause a year, so i'm about to start sewing some accessories for start.

  • Great tips/ideas! Great presentation! I'll make some mind maps for this lectures so I have everything in one place, it's a great reminder. Thanks for this project! Looking forward to next videos!

    • Hahah you're doing mind maps too. Man Ivor you're on it dude it's awesome to "read" you go. Keep up with all these practices and you're gonna kick so much ass in the future :)

      • hehe, that's the plan :D

Mind maps are really THE best learning tool, I love them. I learned them in a speed reading course 5 years ago and have been using them from time to time when I can. I make them for some exams or while listening lectures in college if it's possible. I gotta make a few of them now for some notes from Brian, although he has shortened it allot and to great ideas, I need some visual help for really remembering that amount of great stuff. I highly recommend it to everyone who hasn't used them so far. Tony Buzan is a genius in that field…I read half of his books, amazing stuff.

If there is something interesting to learn, I gotta learn it :) I really enjoy all this stuff, it's like food for me.

        • Hahah I hear you brother! Knowledge junkies unite ;)

Actually this just got me thinking… if you wanted, in the net few weeks, it'd be awesome if you could write a blogpost about your mind mapping techniques.

I could publish it here at a part of Feel Good Learning, and I'm sure it would help a lot of people with their learning, while helping you hone your writing skills.

Hey and who knows, maybe you can teach me a few things too ;)

          What do you think?

          • Wow, thanks man, it would be an honor!

            Really surprised me there :))

I can try to give my best, it will test my writing skills on English.. but looking forward :)

Thanks dude once more, we'll be in touch.

            Cheers :D

So, what do you think?
